How do I initiate a review of my personal property by Tax Adjustment Specialists, Inc.?

Question:

What does Tax Adjustment Specialists charge to review my personal property assessments and if warranted file an appeal in my behalf?

Answer:

  • Our fee is contingent upon successfully reducing your taxes. If we are not successful in achieving a tax reduction for your property, no fee for our service is charged.
  • TAS is paid a percentage of your cost savings ONLY when your property taxes have been reduced. Future annual savings are NOT subject to this contingency fee.

Question:

My company is unique. Our accounting department already manages our property taxes. Why should we consider using an outside consultant who won't understand how we do things?

Answer:

  • The important point is that TAS knows property values and how they should be applied. Statutes are continually revised changing the way both real and personal property taxes are determined. State and local taxes affect every business in some way.
  • Many companies only handle compliance requirements; they simply don't have the resources or the budget to strategically plan state and local tax savings opportunities
  • With all the complexities of state and local tax requirements, even the most thorough organization may inadvertently overlook some obscure tax obligation.
  • Our specialists further benefit your company's bottom line by sifting through the endless number of tax returns and supporting documentation your company files every year, instead of your employees being paid a salary to do so.

Question:

I feel uncomfortable letting an outside company have access to our confidential files. How do I know our confidential records will be safeguarded by TAS?

Answer:

  • If for some reason a review of any records is requested, TAS is a professional, licensed company with over 21 years of experience in the Kansas market (with over 1200 clients). We will, of course, keep your records in strict confidence.

Question:

Why should I consider a Tax Adjustment Specialists, Inc. review?

Answer:

  • A review offers a serious refund opportunity that can amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
  • Your company might be entitled to a sizable refund of taxes that have been paid in error over the past three years.
  • A review leads to better business practices that then create future revenue streams.
  • The review is completed on a success fee basis that guarantees a positive reward versus risk return.
  • A review is a confidence-building activity that can validate your company's existing business practices.
  • Your business has nothing to lose and everything to gain by initiating a review . . . . Why wait and wonder?
